  • About the triskell symbol

from the Greek "triskeles" meaning "three-legged," and its variant, the triple spiral, are symbols that predate even the Celts, with their roots possibly lying in Neolithic spirituality. These symbols have been found on ancient tombs and monuments, such as the megalithic tomb at Newgrange in Ireland, which dates back to around 3200 BC. This suggests that the triskele and triple spiral were significant spiritual symbols, representing concepts of eternity, continuity, and the cyclical nature of life.
While the triskele is often associated with Greek mythology and Norse culture, its most enduring connections are with the Celts, who embraced it as a symbol of their spiritual beliefs and artistic expression.
This symbol may be considered a sign of female power through transition, growth and transformation. The interlocked sprals represent ethereal energy radiating out, or inward depending on your perspective ~ growth, birth and expansion of consciousness.
