Our story, FAQ & shipping

Artist statement

We feel a deep and profound connection to nature, our true inspiration. Our journey of artistic exploration draws from diverse influences such as botanical illustration, the traditional principles of art and design, and even string theory and ancient civilizations, all of which enrich a rich tapestry of experiences and insights.
.Our creations are not just artistic endeavors; they embody a life dedicated to curiosity, learning, and a deep appreciation for the intricacies of existence.

We seek the essence of what art can be—a reflection of the beauty and complexity found in the world around us. Our long study of nature is intertwined with artistic skill to tap into a universal source of inspiration that resonates with many. Each piece is created in testament to this interconnectedness, the experiential wonder of life itself.

We believe art can enrich our lives by bringing us closer to the natural world and reminding us of the profound beauty that surrounds us each day.

WHAT IS STONEWARE?

Clay.  Mud. Since earliest times, humans have used raw materials - sticks, stones, mud - for utility and art.
Stoneware is a high fired durable form of clay, less refined than porcelain and more refined than earthenware. Our stoneware is formed and bisque fired at over 2000F, and glaze fired one (or more!) times to create unique and functional food-safe wares.  Unless otherwise noted, all pieces are safe to use in microwave and dishwasher.
