Sumi-e style handpainted stoneware is fired to over 2000 F, and is dishwasher microwave safe. Size is approximately 3.5 inches, slightly cupped to hold an ounce of liquid.  Reverse is unglazed for textural contrast. 
*As with any ceramic item, please avoid sudden extreme temperature changes that can cause thermal shock and possible cracking.
