Blue wave with almost 3D seaspray! A combination of techniques, including flow blue cobalt and clear glazes over japan decals, refired with glass frits and an iridescent on-glaze.
Hand formed, slightly asymmetrical with rounded corners and gently curving sides, it is food safe This versatile piece sets off your culinary creations or used for other collections in the home, adding a pop of personality anywhere.  Fired to over 2000F, then glazed and fired again. The third firing with a mother of pearl application created an iridescence that sets this apart. *please hand wash, since the surface may be faded by commercial dishwashing detergents.    approximately  12" x 4.5"
